The Overview Fashioned after the highly successful practice of “juku” in Japan, The After-school Achievers program is an academic tutoring program geared to support and enhance current and upcoming scholastic demands. We provide meaningful daily practice that will improve students' confidence and proficiency in Mathematics, Problem Solving, Reading Comprehension and Fluency, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and overall Life skills.

The Method Our highly qualified staff includes experienced Educators and Certified Academic Coaches that offer extended academic support. In addition to homework support, we offer integrated instruction in several subject areas in the form of “Learning Labs” for students grades K-6. Learning Labs allow students to receive additional academic instruction in grade specific subjects. These labs are aligned with state curricula to ensure relevance, readiness and retention. These academic labs include such titles as “Multiplication Mastery”, “Easy Essays”, “ Science Safari”, etc. Our curriculum also includes, SAT preparation, Foreign Language, Latin instruction, Chess, Etiquette and Life skills. The flagship of our curriculum is Ho Math and Chess, the world’s first integrated math and chess curriculum. The B.E.E. Academy has the distinction of being 1 of only 25 certified Math and Chess centers worldwide. While academics are foremost at The B.E.E. Academy, we seek to address the needs of the “whole child”. Our goal is to engage students through fun, thought-provoking activities that encourage participation and enjoyment in learning.To this end, we offer outstanding opportunities for enrichment and exposure through our Colony Clubs. Our Clubs include:    Creative Arts (Dance, drama, music appreciation & Artistic expression).    Hive Higher Learning Clubs (Book clubs, Chess Club, Strategic).    Sports Clubs(Martial Arts, & B.E.E.
